In the construction of a large-scale waste sorting facility, an HT4014 telehandler and an FD40-RT rough terrain forklift are used to move structural steel, sorting equipment components and building materials across the site. Project Background

The project involves building a material recovery facility designed to receive, sort and process large volumes of mixed waste. The facility includes a main processing hall, sorting lines, storage bays and an outdoor material yard.

Application on Site

During structural erection, the HT4014 lifts steel beams, purlins and truss sections into position for the main processing hall and storage bays, supporting the crew as they secure the framing at height.

The FD40-RT transports palletized wall panels, insulation materials and mechanical equipment from the site laydown area to installation zones, keeping construction crews supplied without delay.

As conveyor systems and sorting line components arrive on site, the telehandler positions larger modules near installation points, while the forklift handles smaller crated parts and accessories.

Both machines support ongoing yard organization, moving surplus materials, spacer blocks and packaging waste to designated areas to keep active work zones clear and safe.
