The factory site has narrow travel lanes, concrete floors, overhead steelwork and nearby operating equipment that make large crane movements difficult. Heavy components arrive by truck and must be moved from the unloading point to final installation positions with minimal disruption to plant operations.
The plant had restricted access routes and limited open space around the installation area, so large cranes could not always reach every position safely or efficiently.
Equipment parts needed to be unloaded, shifted and aligned accurately before final installation, which required a machine that could both transport and lift in a controlled way.
Several lifts involved moving components over existing obstacles, temporary foundations or nearby equipment, making compact manoeuvrability and boom reach important.

HT6018 provides a 6 ton rated capacity suitable for many machine parts and skids, a 17.6 m lift height for installation positions and a 12 m outreach for reaching over obstacles and placing loads farther away. Its 4WD rough terrain chassis gives the machine stability and mobility on mixed industrial surfaces.
At the unloading area, the telehandler receives crates, skids and accessory packages from delivery trucks and moves them to a temporary staging zone. This keeps the installation area organised and allows different equipment items to be prepared in sequence.
For machine relocation, HT6018 lifts and carries equipment bases, small frames and auxiliary modules across the plant floor and positions them near foundations or anchor points. The operator uses the boom to make small height and reach adjustments so the installer can align the equipment before final anchoring.
When the project requires lifting items over obstacles or into tight installation positions, the telehandler uses the jib attachment to hoist components carefully into place. This is especially useful for service units, compact machinery modules and steel accessories that must be installed near existing structures.
HT6018 also assists with maintenance and commissioning tasks by moving tools, spare parts and replacement modules between workshop areas and the installation line. This improves site logistics and keeps the project moving without waiting for a full crane setup.
The telehandler operators are trained to follow load charts, attachment rules and factory safety procedures before every lift. Each component is checked for weight, balance and proper lifting points to ensure the selected boom position remains within capacity.
Travel routes inside the plant are kept clear and marked to separate equipment movement from workers and ongoing production activity. When lifting near installed machinery or structural steel, the crew uses spotters and clear communication to guide the operator.
