Cushion Tire IC Forklifts

1.5–7 Ton LPG & Gasoline Forklifts
HAMAC cushion tire IC forklifts are compact internal combustion counterbalance forklifts designed for smooth indoor floors, factory workshops, warehouse loading areas, distribution centers and paved industrial facilities. Equipped with solid cushion tires mounted on steel bands, these forklifts provide stable handling, a compact chassis and a smaller turning radius for customers working in limited indoor spaces.

The cushion tire forklift range can be powered by LPG, gasoline or LPG/gasoline dual fuel systems. HAMAC can provide different mast heights, fork lengths, side shifters, fork positioners, full free lift masts, safety lights, cabins and other options according to pallet size, aisle width, lift height and customer operating requirements. Cushion tire IC forklifts are suitable for clean, dry and level concrete or asphalt surfaces.
Capacity: 1.5–7 Tons
Power Options: LPG, Gasoline or LPG / Gasoline Dual Fuel
Tire Type: Solid Cushion Tires for Smooth Indoor Floors
HAMAC cushion tire internal combustion forklifts are available from 1.5 tons to 7 tons. The 1.5T, 1.8T and 2T cushion tire forklifts are suitable for warehouses, workshops, retail distribution, packaging facilities and light manufacturing. The 2.5T, 3T and 3.5T LPG cushion tire forklifts are widely used for truck loading, pallet handling, factory logistics, beverage distribution, paper products and general indoor material handling.

For heavier industrial work on flat and stable surfaces, HAMAC can provide 4T, 5T and 7T cushion tire IC forklifts. These larger models can handle building materials, metal components, large pallets, machinery parts and other industrial cargo in factories, covered yards and paved loading areas. Common FAQs

What is a cushion tire IC forklift?
A cushion tire IC forklift is an internal combustion counterbalance forklift equipped with solid rubber cushion tires mounted on steel bands. It is commonly powered by LPG, gasoline, or a dual fuel system and is designed for smooth, dry, and level surfaces such as warehouse floors, factory workshops, loading docks, and paved industrial facilities.
What is the difference between cushion tires and pneumatic tires? +
Cushion tires are solid rubber tires fitted around a steel band and are designed mainly for smooth indoor concrete floors. They generally provide a smaller turning radius and more compact forklift dimensions. Pneumatic tires are larger and are better suited for outdoor yards, uneven paved surfaces, gravel, and other rougher ground conditions. A cushion tire forklift should not be used on loose soil, mud, or severely uneven terrain.
What capacities are available for HAMAC cushion tire forklifts? +
HAMAC cushion tire IC forklifts are available from 1.5 tons to 7 tons. The main range includes 1.5T, 1.8T, 2T, 2.5T, 3T, 3.2T, 3.5T, 5T, and 7T models. A 2.5 ton cushion tire forklift, 3 ton cushion tire forklift, and 3.5 ton LPG forklift are common choices for warehouse loading, factory logistics, and general material handling.
Can cushion tire forklifts be used indoors? +
Yes. Cushion tire forklifts are optimized for indoor use on smooth and level concrete floors. They are suitable for warehouses, factories, packaging plants, retail distribution centers, truck loading docks, and industrial storage facilities. LPG or gasoline forklifts used indoors must have sufficient ventilation and comply with local emissions and workplace safety requirements.
Can a cushion tire IC forklift work outdoors? +
A cushion tire internal combustion forklift can operate for short periods on smooth, dry, and level outdoor concrete or asphalt, such as a paved loading area. However, it is not recommended for gravel, mud, rough construction sites, or uneven terrain. For those applications, HAMAC recommends a pneumatic tire forklift or a rough terrain forklift.
What fuel options are available for cushion tire forklifts? +
HAMAC cushion tire IC forklifts can be configured with LPG, gasoline, or LPG/gasoline dual fuel systems. LPG forklifts are commonly selected for indoor or mixed indoor-outdoor applications with adequate ventilation, while gasoline and dual fuel forklifts can offer practical flexibility depending on local fuel availability and operating requirements.
What lift heights are available for cushion tire forklifts? +
HAMAC cushion tire forklifts can be equipped with duplex or triplex mast configurations. Standard lift height is typically 3000 mm, while optional lift heights can range from 3000 mm to 6000 mm depending on the model, load capacity, mast design, attachment, and residual capacity requirement. Full free lift mast options can be considered for low-ceiling warehouses and container loading.
Can a cushion tire forklift be equipped with attachments? +
Yes. HAMAC cushion tire forklifts can be equipped with side shifters, fork positioners, fork extensions, long forks, carton clamps, bale clamps, paper roll clamps, drum handlers, and other material handling attachments. The final residual capacity must be confirmed after adding an attachment because its weight and changed load center affect forklift lifting performance.
Why choose a cushion tire forklift for warehouse work? +
A cushion tire forklift is a practical choice for warehouse and factory operations because its compact chassis and smaller turning radius help operators maneuver in tighter spaces. The solid cushion tires are suitable for smooth indoor floors and do not require air pressure maintenance. It is especially useful for truck loading, pallet handling, manufacturing logistics, and distribution applications.
What information is needed to select the right cushion tire forklift? +
Please provide the required capacity, load center, lift height, pallet dimensions, aisle width, floor type, indoor or outdoor working environment, ventilation condition, preferred fuel type, daily operating hours, attachment requirement, quantity, and destination country. HAMAC can recommend a suitable LPG, gasoline, or dual fuel cushion tire forklift configuration.
