Common FAQs

What is a pneumatic tire IC forklift?
A pneumatic tire IC forklift is an internal combustion counterbalance forklift equipped with air-filled pneumatic tires. It can be powered by diesel, LPG, gasoline, or a dual fuel system. Pneumatic tire forklifts are designed for outdoor yards, loading areas, construction material storage, timber handling, factories, and mixed-surface industrial applications.
What is the difference between pneumatic tire and cushion tire forklifts? +
Pneumatic tire forklifts have larger air-filled tires that provide better traction, ground clearance, and stability on outdoor or uneven surfaces. Cushion tire forklifts use solid tires and are better suited to smooth, dry, and level indoor floors. HAMAC pneumatic tire IC forklifts are recommended for paved yards, outdoor loading areas, timber yards, construction materials, and industrial sites with mixed surfaces.
What capacities are available for HAMAC pneumatic tire IC forklifts? +
HAMAC pneumatic tire IC forklifts are available from 1.5 tons to 10 tons. The main range includes 1.5T, 1.8T, 2T, 2.5T, 3T, 3.5T, 5T, 7T, and 10T models. A 2.5 ton, 3 ton, and 3.5 ton pneumatic tire forklift is widely used for general factory logistics, truck loading, and outdoor pallet handling.
What power options are available for pneumatic tire forklifts? +
HAMAC pneumatic tire IC forklifts can be configured with diesel, LPG, gasoline, or LPG/gasoline dual fuel systems, depending on the forklift model and required capacity. Diesel forklifts are commonly selected for outdoor and heavy-duty work, while LPG, gasoline, and dual fuel forklifts can be selected for factory, loading dock, and mixed indoor-outdoor applications with suitable ventilation.
Can a pneumatic tire forklift work on uneven ground? +
A pneumatic tire forklift is suitable for uneven paved yards, compacted ground, construction material storage areas, and industrial surfaces that are rougher than standard warehouse floors. However, it is not a replacement for a 4WD rough terrain forklift on mud, loose soil, deep gravel, steep slopes, or severely uneven construction sites. HAMAC can recommend a rough terrain forklift when stronger off-road capability is required.
What lift heights are available for pneumatic tire IC forklifts? +
HAMAC pneumatic tire IC forklifts can be equipped with duplex or triplex mast configurations. Standard lift height is typically 3000 mm, while optional lift heights can range from 3000 mm to 6000 mm, depending on forklift capacity, mast type, load center, attachment weight, and required residual capacity. Full free lift mast options can be considered for specific loading and warehousing requirements.
Can pneumatic tire IC forklifts be used for container loading? +
Yes. A pneumatic tire forklift can be configured for container loading and unloading when the machine dimensions, mast lowered height, fork length, turning radius, pallet size, and container clearance are suitable. For standard containers and limited overhead clearance, HAMAC can recommend a suitable mast configuration, fork length, and attachment option.
What attachments are available for pneumatic tire forklifts? +
HAMAC pneumatic tire IC forklifts can be equipped with side shifters, fork positioners, fork extensions, long forks, carton clamps, bale clamps, paper roll clamps, drum handlers, coil handlers, and other specialized forklift attachments. The attachment weight and load center must be considered because they affect the forklift’s residual lifting capacity.
Which industries use pneumatic tire IC forklifts? +
Pneumatic tire IC forklifts are widely used in construction materials, timber and lumber yards, ports, container yards, factories, steel and metal processing, beverage distribution, machinery manufacturing, agriculture, rental fleets, and outdoor logistics operations. They are suitable for handling pallets, timber, pipes, steel products, building materials, machinery parts, and industrial cargo.
What information is needed to choose a pneumatic tire IC forklift? +
Please provide the required forklift capacity, load center, lift height, pallet or load dimensions, working surface, outdoor or indoor operating environment, ground condition, gradient, preferred fuel type, daily operating hours, attachment requirement, engine emission standard, quantity, and destination country. HAMAC can recommend a suitable diesel, LPG, gasoline, or dual fuel pneumatic tire forklift configuration.
