HAMAC FD30‑RT‑L rough terrain forklift is an entry‑level 3 ton 4×4 articulated forklift specially configured for outdoor material handling on rough surfaces where headroom is limited. Based on the proven FD30‑RT platform, the “‑L” version retains the articulated frame, high‑horsepower diesel engine and deep‑tread pneumatic tyres, but adopts a low‑mast, wide‑view design that reduces collapsed height while preserving practical lift range and visibility through the mast.
This compact 3 ton off‑road forklift moves confidently across mud, gravel, crushed stone and soft soil thanks to its off‑road geometry, long wheelbase and widened front and rear track. Minimum ground clearance around 300–340 mm and a vertical high exhaust make FD30‑RT‑L suitable for worksites such as rural housing projects, small construction sites, farm yards and municipal depots where conventional warehouse forklifts cannot safely operate.
A rough terrain forklift is engineered specifically for outdoor use on uneven, muddy or soft surfaces, working reliably where standard warehouse trucks cannot operate safely.
Large, heavily treaded pneumatic tyres and increased ground clearance allow the machine to climb over ruts, rocks and debris while maintaining traction and stability on gravel, mud and grass.
Rough terrain forklifts usually feature high‑power diesel engines that deliver strong torque for climbing and pulling on rough surfaces, with long operating hours and no need for frequent charging.
Many models offer true 4WD or switchable 2WD/4WD systems, giving operators the flexibility to balance fuel economy and maximum traction depending on whether they are on firm yards or very soft ground.
